Just took a stroll to the Arboretum and around the stadium. Lot 11 was 1/4 full at the most. Traffic was light heading in to the lots. A lot of students are gone. This might not be the most well attended game.
They announced 106k. It was probably 60-70k.Just took a stroll to the Arboretum and around the stadium. Lot 11 was 1/4 full at the most. Traffic was light heading in to the lots. A lot of students are gone. This might not be the most well attended game.
Did you attend the game? I have always assumed you to be a dedicated season ticket holder.Just took a stroll to the Arboretum and around the stadium. Lot 11 was 1/4 full at the most. Traffic was light heading in to the lots. A lot of students are gone. This might not be the most well attended game.
I did not. We do not have season tickets.Did you attend the game? I have always assumed you to be a dedicated season ticket holder.
Especially those fans in Lot 11 who need to use the Museum bathrooms on the way to and from the games.Just wait until The Eric Barren Grand Cathedral of The Arts (and such) opens. The campus will be teeming with (sophisticated) fans on football Saturdays.
Thanks for the "like" step. Following the Beaver Stadium attendance model, I discovered you can add to both your message count and reaction score by posting nothing.

Thanks Joe. I did give it a lot of thought. In fact, all my thoughts on the subject are reflected in my post.I thought it was one of your best, most succinct posts ever.
Ye of little faith. What giveth?I did not. We do not have season tickets.
Or for today, tickets given away…and tickets that would have been given away had anyone taken them…and an extra few thousand for good measure.I'm not sure why people get upset when they announce attendance figures. It's based on tickets sold, not on asses in the seats. Get over it.
Absolutely incorrect. 95,000 easy to watch one of the worst programs in the country. Impressive actually, to me. What's not impressive is Pitt. they are playing a game to pretty much lock up their side of the ACC, beautiful day, and they might have had 35,000 there! The camera would pan throughout the game showing what a joke that place is.They announced 106k. It was probably 60-70k.
95k? Not even close. We had about 13k no-shows in the Student Section alone. Actual attendance was in the high 60s.Absolutely incorrect. 95,000 easy to watch one of the worst programs in the country. Heather, is that you?I'm not sure why people get upset when they announce attendance figures. It's based on tickets sold, not on asses in the seats. Get over it.
Read an article about a year ago on attendance . I believe the Naval Academy was the only program to use actual turnstile attendance.I remember the days when the admin. decried using paid attendance as the actual attendance was superior! Guess we are back to the rest of the pack again.
