Not much football on this weekend but some games that actually mean something tonight and tomorrow. Anybody going to tune into them? I’d imagine it’ll be freezing at that Montana State game tonight. Love these games.

Yep. Furman was knocked out last week by Incarnate Word. They are every bit as good as Samford this season.

The Furman/Ga. Southern Championship game played years ago in the Tacoma Dome and narrowly won by Georgia Southern (coached by Erk Russell) is still one of the greatest games I have ever seen in my life. Dick Sheridan said years later that he still hadn't been able to bring himself to watch it. I imagine he never has.

The Furman/Ga. That was a great game. I remember it well.

Watching the Montana State game now. Its 14 here at the house, so I imagine it's down to 12 or so in Bozeman. We got about 6 inches of snow on Monday, but nothing since. I'd love to see the game played in a blizzard, but I think it's only a very light chance of snow tonight.

I'm dying to go to Fargo and watch a North Dakota State football game live while they are in the playoffs. That is one of my bucket list things to do. Minneapolis is supposed to get hammered the middle of the week with snow. If I were able to go to Fargo, I'd fly into Minneapolis and drive up to Fargo. Guess I'll watch it on TV and wish...

The College Baseball World Series is another on my bucket list. jus say'n
