And from my perspective I was hoping for a better day from the conference for the two teams that beat Penn State this year thus adding more legitimacy to Penn State's season. But in the end if Penn State can finally win a Rose Bowl for the first time since Kerry Collins and KiJana Carter I'll still be happy.

M and OhowIhate both losing and setting up for Penn State to flex it’s muscle. JoPa won 2 out of 3 Bowls he Played in and I know James and players will adhere to the standard because We Are !
These posts after two bone-crushing defeats for those two programs are why I am forever a Penn State fan.

All things being righteous and equal, we are supposed to be rooting for all BIG teams but the BIG has never recognized the legitimacy PSU gave the league in 1993 and then shunned us like Klingons and worse used Joe as a scapegoat. Neither of those programs could have recovered like we did and they know it. Thanks Yogiman, we died and went to heaven and woke up pinched our selves.

Those were really good games and the playoffs really earned their ratings yesterday. Mich and OSU are really, really good teams but I was elated at the results of both games. Can't believe Georgia came back and scored at the end yet OSU still almost pulled it out missing a 50 yd FG. I hope we play as well as those 4 teams played (and win). It was quite entertaining. McCarthy throwing those 2 pick 6s were two of my favorite plays yesterday.

I do feel like ESPN failed to show enough crying and pouting OSU and Mich fans though.
The broadcaster praise heaped on MI during the TCU game was upchuck-inducing. Also the ref team that conveniently 'overlooked' multiple holding schemes (and other stuff) employed by the wolvers. Happily the Horned Frogs were talented enough to win whilst playing against a seventeen-man team. Just sayin'.

Given the obvious, deep-seated, oft-displayed 'entiltled-ness' attitudes of MI fans, coaches and players the result of that game was to me (shall we say) gratifying. I'm getting tired of Georgia so was rooting for Ohio State.

The amazing thing to me about TCU was their running game. They just continuously punched Michigan in the mouth with the running game. We knew they could pass but to have that much success running verified how good a team they are. Michigan couldn't stop either running or passing and TCU just owned them on the line of scrimmage

Agree, and I couldn’t understand why TCU seemed to throw unreasonably often on first down.

I was thinking the same. I guess I just haven’t been here long enough to comprehend the idea of pulling against your own league. 🤔
