DREW ALLAR FILM STUDY

See Link. Couple things stood out while editing this. 1. It's amazing to think back and recall how lost and overwhelmed Allar seemed in last year's Blue-White game and how he looked and performed like a completely different person when he tagged in for a series vs. Purdue. The leap from "then" to then-- April to Sept. -- has to be viewed as an optimistic sign that he'll make another huge leap as a sophomore compared to a freshman, 2. Even as a true freshman, he had better pocket presence and kept his eyes downfield better than Clifford did for his first five years in the program and his ability to go from WR 1, to WR 2, to WR 3 to check down to the RB might already be better than Clifford ever was in that dept. To us, the fact that Franklin that wants to allocated so many reps for Pribula this spring feels like a huge compliment to Allar's growth and the confidence the coaching staff has in him.

is it too early to start calling for the backup?
Not for the BWICAC.
Actually it might save time to code accountability for 2023 loses as follows:
1. Franklin
2. Coordinator of choice
3. position coach
4. All of the above
5. Officials
6. Officials and 1,2,3, or 4
7. Fire everyone (WE deserve better)

It certainly could be interpreted (giving Pribula = reps) as concern about Allar.
But more than likely it's recognition of an entirely different skill set, the collective youth and lack of depth at the position.

We laugh at reason.

Trying to keep Pribula out of the portal after this year.
Can’t worry about the portal. Players will come. Players will go. Need to have other Allar type 5 stars recruits waiting to be next man up like Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State etc. Worrying about if Pribula transfers isn’t getting us to the next level.

Yep, no problem. Installing double doors to Lasch so they can enter faster.

Hell, I'm leaving for a better deal even if I am starting.
That's happening as well. If PSU loses Shrews, it's likely because he can't attract and retain talent (NIL) because I think PSU will be very competitive with a contract offer.

LOL.....stars in your eyes. Hack or McSorely....McGloin or Boldin.
How many 5 stars on those teams? How many nattys won?

Don’t concern yourself with you might want to walk out the door. Worry about who is walking in the door.

Again…see above.

Especially our "elite" fans.
That is what those fans were promised.

“We are a great program. We lost to an elite program. We have gotten comfortable being great. We will no longer be comfortable being great.”

I wonder what the board would say if our starter got hurt and the backup had to enter the game without being ready, at all? I think we saw this condition recently, I just can't put my finger on it.
But but but the backup WAS well coached and prepared but ya just never know how a kid is gonna perform under pressure.
