This is the scary thing. Beamer said he thought this was a really good team. Not only can he not coach, obviously, but he can't even tell the difference between a good team and a horrendous team.

Yeah/ I don’t think it’s an overreaction. I think it is right in line with my expectations. As previously stated in prior years, we got lucky during Beamers first 2 years with other newbie coaches adjusting to the league and we had some talented pieces that helped get us some valuable wins. I may be alone thinking this/ but I can’t help but feel like this is the worst overall trajectory/outlook our program has been in 25 years.

We know who we are, I guess? We know what Sellers can and can’t do, which is largely run the ball around the edge for a few yards and that’s it. Sanders is a good back. Defense screwed up a couple of times but they were our best offense. We need a change immediately at QB or no other “win” is secure the rest of the season.

I take no joy from having to replace the head coach.Somehow I hope we see a major improvement but to me it like the trajectory is still headed in the wrong direction.The same with the QB .If he was turning the ball over or throwing to the wrong guy I’d hope for improvement,but I rarely have seen major improvements in accuracy over a season and career.You either have it or you don’t.

I dunno man, Sellers had numerous open receivers tonight and he airmailed the ball or threw it in the dirt. Almost got receivers killed a few times. Nyck did a fantastic job just getting his hands on ball a few times.
