to purchase if the website accepts Apple pay? It increases my odds by a good 70% for me.

I've not yet been sold on the utility of Apple Pay when compared to other applications.

Why is it good?

A good bit more.

Especially if it’s a site set up to use Apple Pay and it enters all the information, including the shipping address, at one time.

I love Apple Pay. The store you just shopped at a month ago that you used a debit card at gets a data breach? And you paid with Apple Pay? No sweat. Gas pump skimmers? Not my information when I pay through Apple Pay.

You really should set it up. It's quick, convenient, easy and safe. I use it for everything I can.

It’s just one click…

The best part is that it fills in your email, address and everything so you don’t have to. It’s nice to have.

No more likely if the Apple Pay option is there, I've never use anything Apple. Somebody needs to come out w/ a universal Q code type pay option to scan instead of having some stores that accept Google Pay, some Apple Pay, some WalMart Pay, some Samsung Pay, etc. If I've missed that option let me know

I use it as much as possible at websites and points of sale. I will use a retailer over another or even if I am on the fence about buying something if they have apple pay. I have had my credit card number stolen numerous times from probably skimmers but I have not had that happen since I started using it at gas pumps and cashiers.

I don't use it for person to person transactions I will stick with PayPal for that.

Never used it, and not adverse to using it. But Safari does all that for me already.

Absolutely. After being in a role where I managed a CUs Online Banking, I have become less patient with clunky UI. If it’s a pain I’m out. Apple Pay or even PayPal on increase the likelihood of me purchasing.

I just about only do Apple or Paypal. If I have to break out a CC, I'm out. Hell, I only go to gas stations that have the apple pay thing at the pump. Game changer.

On mobile, I'm substantially more likely NOT to buy if it doesn't make it easy on me with ApplePay. I might eventually go get it on PC where it's easier to type in a bunch of crap.

For me I always prefer if the app allows that rather than having to get out a card. I use it a slot when ordering pick up for restaurants or fast food. My order is usually correct when ordering through an app rather than going a person putting my order in. For other apps it makes it a lot more convenient

So, y'all are saying that I can pay for stuff using apples instead of money?

Have used nothing but iPhones for my personal phone since about 2009. I have never used Apple Pay. Is it that advantageous? I’m not being a smartass-I’m being serious here.

It’s more secure. When using ApplePay, your vendor receives payment from Apple, then Apple recovers their $ from you. So, if Target has a large data breach in the future, they won’t have your credit card information since Apple technically paid via a single encrypted transaction.

You can also send cash via iMessage which can be handy.

All of that said, I still primarily use my credit cards for reward purposes. Also, the idea of the tech companies replacing Visa & AmEx has a weird antitrust feel to me.

It’s a lot more secure than entering your card everywhere you shop. Not to mention about 10 times faster.

No kidding about faster. I used it this morning at a stop light to order my father's Christmas gift. I already had the items in the cart, one double click and I was done.

As long as the merchant accepts it - face to face or online - it's awesome. I don't have to pull out my wallet in either scenario. Just use my phone and I'm done.

Have it set up on phone and watch (cause I didn’t get my wallet when I went out of town one time). Forget about it about 90% of time now.

I do use WalMart Pay a good bit though and like the convenience and perks as much as I spend at Walmart. I got a Capital One WalMart Master Charge and linked it w/ WalMart Pay. When I use Walmart.com and that card I get 5% cash back on all purchases. When I buy gas at WalMart or SmallMart I get 3c/gal off the pump price from WalMart and 2% cash back from Capital One. All purchases in WalMart are 2% back and everything else is 1%. For the first year it was 5% back on all WalMart pay purchases at WalMart and I racked up little over $500
