it appears that mlb.tv has a free demo of their 1.2 mb premium service today. i've been considering subscribing, will be interested to see how it looks. that's pretty impressive.
it also looks like they are introducing new software at the end of the month (though i guess that's all of two days away) on which you can watch up to 6 games at once, alerts for favorite player at bats, etc.
