If O'Neil Wilder gave up football and concentrated on track, could he:</p>

Make the 2012 Olympic team?
Is it possible to shave off almost 2 seconds of your time in 4 years...is it possible at all? He ran a 45.6 at the Jr. World Championship, but the big time 400 meter guys all seem to break 44 seconds now.
at the Jr. World Championships would definitely have a good chance to do well in the Olympics 4 or even 8 years later. The current Olympians would be 4 or 8 years older and he's proved he can run with the best of the younger crop of runners.

he could but you never know what could happen. He has the potential to run that but keep in mind, four years ago we had a sprinter named Jamel Ashley who was a multi-time All American who DID run 44 second 400 meters multiple times but never made it close to making the team because he peaked at the wrong time of year. He still runs professionally but it is all a matter of timing unless your last name is Bolt.
