In 2023... Should Drew Allar switch his jersey number from 15 to 14? The reason being Todd Blackledge (North Canton) and John Shaffer (The REAL Cincinnati Kid) who as we all know were both Ohio natives and wore 14 while winning the National Championship.

Wait. What? Isn’t Clifford back next year? Doesn’t he have a medical year left for all the abuse his body has taken in the first 6 years he’s been at PSU?

Allar will not be wearing a number next year. He will be wearing a huge "S" on his jersey. He will be easily recognizable as he is carried on and off the field on the shoulders of fawning, volunteer fanboys....so as not to get his gold cleats dirty.
All his passes will magically find their destination ....cradled against the chest of his receivers.
His teammates will want to be him and every coed on campus will wish to be with him. Fanboys here will have an unrelenting chubby from September until the NC game in January. Where Georgia players and coaches will await the arrival of the PSU bus, seek his autograph and genuflect as he disembarks.

If the above somehow fails to become reality.....you heard it here first.......the coaches ruined him.

I'm sure, Sean Clifford doesn't give a rat's a$$ on who wears his number.
Sean has been an excellent student athlete to represent our institution.
Sean, you will always be in our hearts.....
Love Thomas & Karen
Step it saddens me to see so many "PSU fans" treat a fine, loyal young man like Sean this way. As for Drew, this is as popular as he can ever hope to be with these fanboys. In addition to having wonderful athletic skills, I hope DA has a strong emotional constitution (like SC) to cope when all his adoring fans come to the realization that he is human.

Once again, Marshall can’t let a completely innocuous thread (about jersey numbers!) go by without using it as a springboard for attacking other posters — TWICE. And once again, he somehow believes this proves he’s a “better fan.” One might wonder what compels this behavior . . .

What compels my behavior....decades of empirical evidence.
The NY Yankees once had a phenom named Kevin Maas. Pressed into service for an injured Don Mattingly, he hit 21 home runs in 79 games. A dead pull lefty hitter with marquee good looks, fans struggled to contain their enthusiasm. On opening day of the next season Maas was engulfed in adoring fans seeking an autograph as he tried to enter the stadium.
At the very same time, unnoticed and unimpeded, I saw the great Joe Dimaggio exit a limo, not 45 feet away and enter the Yankee offices. Maas would play one full season of major league baseball.
I actually feel sorry for Drew Allar. He can be a pretty damn good QB and he will be considered a disappointment by an unrealistic fanbase.
Why would anyone give 2 ***** what number he wears?

Actually, the medical redshirt would be for mental wellness given all the abuse the fans levy on him this year.

If there is a God....or perhaps poetic justice at least......can you imagine the proliferation of fanboy tears!
LOL

The behavior I’m questioning is attacking other PSU fans in threads in which they aren’t doing as you’ve described. Not that your other unprovoked attacks make a whole lot more sense to me, but you seem to be posting non sequiturs as a knee jerk response to random threads such as this one.

"Attacking?" LOL Perhaps you and some are a bit too sensitive. In any event, there is an ignore feature so that your delicate feelings need not be hurt by my posts.
