He posted a few weeks ago that he felt he was too good to go the XFL route and was asking what fans thought. I guess he had a change of heart. Hope he gets another shot in the NFL. His window is closing but love watching him play.

Apparently 32 NFL teams disagree. I do feel he's a good safety. But it seems he's done something to acquire a bad rep in The League.

I don’t think it’s a bad rep as much as he’s just gotten older and not many players play in the NFL as long as even he has. They’re going to go get a younger guy for less money unless he’s dominant.

I want to XFL to succeed if for no other reason than to give aspiring professional football players who have no interest in obtaining a college education an opportunity to turn pro right out of high school.

Yeah, that was my first thought as well. He said he thought he'd be taking a step back to play in the XFL. I reckon he decided it's a good chance to audition for an NFL spot this fall.
