Weren’t her playersI haven't followed PSU WBB since Suzie McConnell. But how was this even possible with Coach Coquese until the wheels fell off completely:
2010–11 Penn State 25–10 11–5 2nd NCAA 2nd Round 2011–12 Penn State 26–7 13–3 1st NCAA Sweet Sixteen 2012–13 Penn State 26–6 14–2 1st NCAA 2nd Round 2013–14 Penn State 24–8 13–3 T–1st NCAA Sweet Sixteen
I thought so, but didn't she start her gig at PSU in 2007? I could be wrong.Weren’t her players
Weren’t her players
Sort of the inverse of the year when Portland kicked an entire recruiting class of players off the team. Portland did her fair share of running the program into the ground as well at the end of her tenure. There was a season where she did not bring in a single (!!!) freshman player. Not one . . . and there were scholarships available. I found out later that she declined to recruit because she was pregnant. She destroyed the program and it is taking time for Carolyn Kieger to rebuild. The signs are there that progress is being made.
