I will choose to focus on wrestling. Where the PSU coach actually coaches and motivates people and delivers in big matches.
Oregon found continuity with 5 new OL and a new QB. Our results are due to poor management period..
I expect the basketball team to be terrible and finish last in the Big 10. However, that’s probably what they’re expected to do. Who knows, maybe they’ll surprise, but I doubt it.
In all fairness, those 5 OL and qb would probably beat PSU in basketball too.
Unfortunately, that’s probably not far from the truth. The state of both basketball programs is terrible, and seemingly never gets better. PSU may have the worst set of basketball programs than any other Power 4 school.
We had a saying back in high school. "I'd rather wrestle and lose than play basketball."
And you are right. It is awesome to see Cael get the best out of his wrestlers. They love doing it.
