Embarrassing? If we don’t rough the kicker and then drop an easy touchdown pass. It’s a one score game with about 8 minutes left. The game basically ended when Rara dropped the TD pass. All the air went out of the balloon and we gave up an additional garbage time TD.
Honestly, I thought this was about as competitive as MSU has been against an elite team in quite some time.
We didn't roll over. The game was more competitive than the final score. Given the talent disparity on the field I think we played and coached it about as well as we could have.
Until we recruit better blockers, catchers and tacklers we ain't staying on the field with the 4-5 super elite teams in the country like UGA.

If we had played like that against Kentucky we win that game by two touchdowns
No doubt. There’s a lot we need to do better. But at least we showed some fight tonight. Which is more than I can say for any of our other losses this year.
If competitive is getting beat by 25 then we are a helluva competitive team.

Did you watch the game? If not for about 3 or 4 bad calls and that stupid penalty by Forbes, we were right there with them. Leach should rip the refs a new one at the presser.

The one thing I’ve learned from the Alabama and Georgia games is our DC is earning his money and our HC with his offense is overpaid.
That KY game frustrates the heck out of me. Laid a large turd. That was Leach's wtf (bad) game this year. On the bright side, he has yet to have his wtf (good) game this year. Hopefully that'll be Thanksgiving
