Nobody who enters the portal during the 2024-25 season will have any restrictions, regardless of how many times they have transferred.

It’ll be interesting to see how this impacts the number of players entering the portal now.

Has to be a pre-emptive move to avoid legal/financial ramifications down the road - makes no sense otherwise.
Only making a bad thing even worse!

The quicker this whole thing burns to the ground the quicker we can get to the inevitable…employee status for student athletes. The only thing that’s going to stop this is contracts that bind both sides.

NIL contracts binding them to the school of their choice with transfer restrictions/penalties would be a start.

All student athletes? That is going to be interesting figuring out who gets what!

I'm really glad my kids are through school and I don't buy football tickets!

It was a court ordered injunction handed down dec14th. That injunction was for 14 days. There was nothing keeping them from getting another one for the other periods. So the ncaa just gave in.
