(5) SDSU-(1) Alabama 6:30
(5) Miami, FL-(1) Houston 7:15
(15) Princeton-(6) Creighton 9
(3) Xavier-(2) Texas 9:45

My sure things are Miami and Creighton. I’ll be rooting for SDSU, Miami, Creighton, and Xavier. I’d normally support Princeton but the Jesuit card trumps.

I'd normally root for Creighton, but when a school with no athletic scholarships is in the NCAAs, I just have to root for them. Plus I have a distant cousin (daughter of my mom's cousin) who is a professor emeritus at Princeton.

I won’t be surprised ifTexas doesn’t win the big enchilada next weekend.

First time ever….no #1 seeds in elite 8
That’s what happens when you really have no team worthy of being a #1 seed, but you have to pick four anyway. Fun games this year, but really no great teams.

People hate seeing the same teams win a lot, but usually without the biggest draws ratings slump.
That’s because only people who really like basketball will watch a game between Creighton and San Diego State…most people don’t care.

I can't figure out why a regular fan gets so wrapped up in what TV ratings are going to be. I work in TV and most of the time I don't really care about the ratings. If you're a fan, you're going to watch. If you're not, you'll be dining on scones and lattes prior to going to the theater on Final Four Saturday night. It's almost like people want to disparage a great sporting event (Final Four, Stanley Cup Final, Wimbledon) by saying nobody will watch.

On the court, somehow, this moron went 8-0 vs the spread and added a SD State moneyline winner as a bonus in the Sweet 16 games. It's amazing what can happen when a team relies on their defense and out-toughs the finesse type team.

In that case, who you got today and tomorrow?

I missed a great night of games, as I was traveling. My phone kept blowing up with texts from friends about how this or that favorite was trailing, then had lost. Frustrating to have missed all the action.

It was quite the spectacle to see these young men competing with such skill and ferociousness.

I was 1-1 yesterday having K State and UCONN. Today, I'm going with San Diego State and Miami (but Texas to win outright).
Huh? If UM beats UT, then UT can’t win outright. I guess I’m not understanding

I had a similar reaction; my guess is that he picked Miami with the points, Texas to win.
Yes, that's correct. Miami with the points but thought Texas would win (especially since I had them +375 to go to the Final Four). My bad for the confusion.
