I really hope PSU and Quinnipuac win tomorrow. Because then we can get something that rarely happen - Michigan and OSU losing on the same day- and we deserve that.
That would put Penn State up against Quinnipiac (31-4-3) in the Frozen Four.

We know there will be at least two Big Ten teams in the Frozen Four (hopefully we are one of them). Possibly three. Dream scenario is we win tonight then beat Ohio State and face Minnesota for the championship!

And people on this board are surprised at the outcome šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø
Penn State hockey has become quite successful in a snort time, compared to basketball. This is really impressive given that Penn is not exactly one of the premier states for hockey talent so recruiting is much more national or international. On the other hand, the region is a hotbed of basketball talent.

Officiating was not horrible, but still some poor calls and non-calls.
Well rewatching, Michigan was way offside on their game tying goal and the refs didnā€™t look too long with the challenge for too many men on the ice on the game winner and it kinda looked like the guy coming off the ice was not really close to their bench. The linesman really sucked tonight.

I was at the game last night. The crowd was incredible. Pretty sad to end that way.

Itā€™s like we arenā€™t respected in the b1g.

Aah, Iā€™m sure itā€™s all just a misunderstanding.

Yes, this is true. We are not MN, MI, or MA for hockey talent, though one of Michigan's best players came from PA. But, NY and NJ both have put a lot of players in the NHL as well and PSU is obviously within their region. Not surprisingly, we have a lot of players from those two states on the 2022-2023 roster. There is enough talent in our region + parts of Ontario to put together good rosters that can compete nationally.
