given what we know now and have seen of these scholarship players, who do you think will be the starting QB and in the QB room in 2023 season, and how do you see the 2022 season?

My guess would be

2022 season will be Sean Clifford unless he cannot walk. We might see some CV action, but not in a critical moment. I think all 4 stay for the fall season. Matt McGloin and Tom Hannifin have opined that only 3 will be on the roster for fall without naming who is leaving.

2023 - starter Allar and left on the roster would be Pribula along with Stokes as the new arrival. CV would have transferred.

all we have to do is look at the OSU QB room from last spring to what it was by end of the season.

I think it's possible Christian will stay for the fall, as he likely has the edge as backup and could be pressed into service at any moment. By spring (should CV not be pressed into service), the #2 from the Allar vs Pribula competition will be gone.......and if the winner of that (likely Allar) jumps CV, he will be gone as well.
There is a chance in that scenario that Pribula might stay, as he would be the primary backup and just a red shirt freshman. Giving him another years experience and still 3 to play if and when he transfers. Just the way the college QB carousel works now.

Fortunately this is Franklin's team and although he has lost a good many players in the portal very few of them actually bettered themselves from a goal of playing top P5 football. So a comparison to the revolving door of top talent at oh-high-ya is really not a good comparison IMHO.

I see little chance of Allar beating out Veilleux for the backup QB spot on the depth chart in 2022, but if he does then yes Veilleux will probably move on. Veilleux played very well in his limited chances as a true frosh in 2021 and there is no reason to believe he hasn't progressed since the end of the season. If Clifford falters or is injured I expect Veilleux to play very well.

the guys on Pay Dirt (Matt and Tom) think whoever is #4 going into the fall will transfer. I think they all might stay through the fall, and then whoever is last on the depth chart transfers elsewhere in December. Not seeing CV, DA and BP all on the roster for spring 2023.

At this point it is SC for 2022 and all I really care about at this stage is that he has improved enough for us to get a NY6 bid (preferably Rose Bowl) and beat OHowIHate in Happy Valley this season.

For the sake of argument, say #4 is Pribula. I don't see what he gains by transferring for the fall. Unless he goes to a much less competitive environment FBS etc. I think he'll stay, train and red shirt. I think the first to leave is CV, if he sees that Allar is jumping him on the depth chart (after this season). But who really knows?
It's funny cause I caught all kinds of **** on the old board when Allar signed and I said if I were Pribula, I'd look elsewhere. Now it's okay to speculate on who will leave first. I guess timing is everything.

Would CJF actually consider starting anyone other than Clifford? What if SC is actually outperformed by CV, BP, or Allar this spring?

I'm struggling to see anyone else getting substantial minutes unless SC gets hurt.

Realistically, if Allar is the guy in '23 then I think Pribula stays. In this case, he would have redshirted in '22 and Allar is probably gone after '24 to the NFL. So Pribula would still get 2 years to start. If Allar jumps CV, then CV would probably go is my guess.

There is a zero percent chance Sean Clifford doesn't start this fall. All four of our guys will stay until the spring. This will be the depth chart.

1. Sean Clifford
2. Christian Veilleux
3. Beau Pribula OR Drew Allar
