Offensive line ain't a personnnel issue. It's a scheme/design/terminology issue.Let's wish him the best. I won't be real upset if he leaves but I will pull for him and his possible NFL career. He has limitations but I wouldn't wish this offense and offensive line on anyone.
Agreed but it's an issue for Rattler.Offensive line ain't a personnnel issue. It's a scheme/design/terminology issue.
It’s a mistake. We’re definitely going to have a new OC and OL coach next year. As I recall, last summer he participated in a QB camp in California (Manning?) and he wasn’t the best. He has some things to work on. Best to learn from someone good next year at the collegiate level to improve status. He's in a heck of a spot. He has a decision to make. By now, the NFL should have been a viable option for him, but he has emerged as extremely unmarketable. He needs a redemptive year - someplace.
I'm not arguing with your logic, but his actions might be influenced by his stakeholders who aren't us.It’s a mistake. We’re definitely going to have a new OC and OL coach next year. This...he needs to get as far away from a Satterfield offense as he can.He needs a redemptive year - someplace.
He did it tonight. We were blessed our top running backs weren't available. It finally changed our management of first down, and therein lies the difference we saw tonight.This...he needs to get as far away from a Satterfield offense as he can.
I mean really, and as Wonderful as tonight was, if I were to tell you that I was totally confident in regards to who's calling our plays from here on out, why I'd be making a very dishonest statement!!He did it tonight. Single best performance by a Gamecock QB ever! Give Spencer credit for being mobile and making tons of great plays. He did it tonight. We were blessed our top running backs weren't available. It finally changed our management of first down, and therein lies the difference we saw tonight.
It would be interested to know what went down this week behind the scenes. Did Beamer force some changes on the offensive side or did Satterfield make changes? Even the OL looked competent pass blocking tonight.I mean really, and as Wonderful as tonight was, if I were to tell you that I was totally confident in regards to who's calling our plays from here on out, why I'd be making a very dishonest statement!!
Part of what happened was due to having to place the game in the hands of different people, and hence, employ a different and more dynamic repertoire of plays. And how many times did we come close to running out the play clock tonight other than on the the last two possessions when we were running it down deliberately?I mean really, and as Wonderful as tonight was, if I were to tell you that I was totally confident in regards to who's calling our plays from here on out, why I'd be making a very dishonest statement!!
Beamer has visibly gone to Satterfield's @$$ at least twice this season when TV caught it. You think he didn't go to his @$$ after last week's debacle? It would be interested to know what went down this week behind the scenes. I'm sure he did. I'm just wondering if Beamer just gave him a major *** chewing or if Beamer took control away from Satterfield.Beamer has visibly gone to Satterfield's @$$ at least twice this season when TV caught it. You think he didn't go to his @$$ after last week's debacle?
Whatever he said worked...no one in SEC history scored 63 on UTBeamer has visibly gone to Satterfield's @$$ at least twice this season when TV caught it. You think he didn't go to his @$$ after last week's debacle?
That's the most points ever scored by an unranked team against a Top Five opponent in the poll era, which is a long time.Whatever he said worked...no one in SEC history scored 63 on UT
Both. Since 1936, and NO SEC team EVER scored 63 on UTThat's the most points ever scored by an unranked team against a Top Five opponent in the poll era, which is a long time.
Even after tonight's performance. (I'm still agreeing with you) If he bolts, he'll go undrafted IMHO - *UNLESS* - he demolishes Clemson and Demolishes the bowl game opponent like he did tonight. If that happens.....he's gone and relatively highly drafted.More like, bolting to undrafted free agency.
