As I stated on a thread last week and too answer your question, Yes,games are definitely getting harder to pick. I've been sports betting for about 25 years now, so I've learned the hard (expensive)lessons about how lines work. The first few weeks of the season are always the best times to play because they don't really know what the teams have until they've seen them play, they are handicapping on nothing more than a guess. Week 3 to 4 is when things begin to get more difficult. You need to go back and reviewyour picks.Due to the factyou picked all favorites, ittells me that you when look at lines, your brain automatically looks at a game and tells you xyz team is favored by xxx points. This has been good up to this point in the season, but going forward when you look at lines, re-train your brain to see and process, abc team is catching xxx points. Vegas only puts a negative&number out in front of the team that is favored for a reason, very seldom if ever, will you see a line posted with a plus&number out beside it. It's a Subtle psychological trick. Go back and review the lines for this week...view them as abc is catching xxx points and I promise that your picks for the week will change and you will end up probably playing less gamesand having a much better outcome.
Disclaimer, for the record I really like the USF -2.5 and BAMA -4. My other plays for the week are all underdogs. I'll share more torwards the weekend.
