It'd be pretty tough to get your fans to the baseball game if the basketball game was at the same time.

And this was a double header. It is so freaking sad how far our baseball program has fallen.

which is usually your slowest attendance day of the weekend. I'm guessing that the delay in the series caused a lot of the out of towners to just not make the trip this weekend. Both of us rely a lot on people from Jackson, Memphis, Tupelo, and other places to make trips of an hour or more to come to baseball games. It's easier to do that on a Friday and Saturday than if you know the only games you'll get to see will be on Sunday.

Seriously, would you spend a day to watch that ****? If you were an Ole Miss baseball fan circa 1996-1997, you know the answer to that.

Also, MSU doesn't do anything to promote the games. Nothing. All we rely on is our tradition. The students don't care, and the only people there are the Loungers and a few old farts in the stands.
