Wow, so each team only gets 200 tickets each (after parent tickets, I assume). That kinda sucks. March Madness is a compelling TV event, but it leaves a lot to be desired as an actual in-person fan event.

I just called the USC ticket office. Not to jinx anything of course but just to understand potential options. I’ve been a Gamecock too long not to be a bit superstitious. Anyway … was told (nicely) that even though we had a decent number of points, in the event the WBB advances, the university would not be getting many tickets and to buy off Ticketmaster. Didn’t even take my name for a waiting list. I appreciated the honest, direct answer/direction at least.

Just making sure you know the saying is, “in other words”.

and this talk is bold. If the Gamecocks don’t make it to Dallas, this thread could be the reason why. 🤣
I was referring to the points you must have to buy them from the Gamecock Club.

They sent the ticket notification out yesterday. I thought it was 200. And the notice had a link and recommended Ticketmaster if you weren’t priority enough. Tournament books were $350 per ticket with a max total of two tickets or books.

Would have been good to have had this information gathered and distributed weeks ago.

HELLO!

If you really were interested, WHY didn't YOU call the Gamecock Club WEEKS AGO and ask about tickets?

Oh, that's right. You just wanted to bittcch about it.

You don't know that he didn't. Thanks for keeping this forum civil, though.

The Gamecocks Clubs’s not the blame. The NCAA is. The club could have looked after us a bit better by helping manage expectations. That said, and I speak as a double alumni (sic) our athletic department isn’t exactly well run or well managed.
