Wow I did not remember that Vanderbilt game being so close in 2012. I just remember it was on a Thursday and I worked with uga people at the time. They obliviously had a shindig that night and I said forget it, I’m going home to watch the game.

It's interesting, thinking back on the '86 and '87 seasons and that Miami series. How different might things have been if those home games had been reversed and we'd played them in Miami in '86 and they had played in Columbia in '87? In '87, we ended up losing by 4 points in Miami to the eventual undefeated national champions. Had fortune put that game in Columbia, who knows?
