Brief report from Athens on Sunday.

A sunny, chilly day. Attendance looked like about 1800, with about 100 Gamecock fans there.

Unlike the past couple of seasons, there was a feeling of expectation that we could win/sweep.

Not pleasant in the stands especially in the shade but boy the ending sure was good as was the series.

Yeah, it was chillier in the shade. I suggested to the concessionaires that it was too bad they didn't have hot coffee or hot chocolate for sale.

By the 5th inning, they were predicting the Dawgs would be 10-runned.

I'm feeling encouraged, but await our status next Monday.
