Guess the staff basically told him he's a backup to Hill (who Dunbar refers to as "kid from Mississippi"), which I think indicates the staff has some waning confidence in Hill's commitment. Doesn't take much reading of the tea leaves there.

Might end up with only Fuller at RB if Hill prolongs his commitment. Dunbar says we're a dream school but isn't going to wait around forever. Fuller is looking like a good get, but we need depth at RB. Fortunately, Anderson, shows some good promise, but we'll have to hit RB hard for the 2025 class if we only bring in one this class.

It's a gamble. Do you read the tea leaves and stop spending time on Hill, who is looking less and less likely, and go hard for Dunbar, who it sounds like we could get right now if we wanted? Or do we keep pursuing Hill and risk missing out on both. Maybe the staff believes they keep going after Hill, and if they miss on him and Dunbar sticks with Va Tech, they can get someone comparable to Dunbar from the portal.

1937 yds, 164 rushes (11.8 per carry) 25 TD.

Hardesty, IMO should have gone on and offered.

just gained a scholarship with McLeod leaving. why not. If you get HIll and Dunbar now, so what. Not like we can't use additional legs in the RB room regardless.

Pretty stout #s. I had not even heard of him to be honest. From how he talks, it sounds like he'd commit today if we offered. Maybe the staff feels like he wants to be a Gamecock so bad they can wait on Hill's decision to offer him.

Hope we don't get burned and left with no other RBs in this class.

Traevon had 29 rushes, 324 yds, 11.2/rush.

Can we just fire hardesty now… I have not seen anything worth keeping. RB have either left early or transferred since he got here. And he only recruits have been Juju and Braswell… The rest have been transfers and Mario only be that has contributed in 3 years.
