Sold out doesn’t mean what it used to. They’re close to capacity but there are still tickets for sale on fevo and a few promotional partners. There were also about 100 season tickets for sale yesterday.

This. What is Furman's average attendance for a home game? Probably about 10,000? Surely, the vast majority of those fans will make the trip to Columbia for a once-every-so-often game against the Gamecocks. An extra 8,000 or so visiting fans make it a lot easier to sellout a game. And the ability to go to a game, any game, for a price most families can afford.
Yes. I parked in a lot way up Key Road and got an end place on pavement. Rain kept down a lot of the football throwing but what there was got conducted over on the grass portion of the lot. Perfect. Didn't even mind paying a guy $20 to ride the four of us in his golf cart the half mile or so to where we were invited to tailgate.
