Watching Gray and WILSON sit on the bench behind Branden and Woodley is sinful, Especially against big athletic teams. If Frank would do any analytics he would see that we go backwards every time that combination is together. Good night we had a seven point lead he put them in and it got down to two before he put Leveque and Bryant back in. Play gray and WILSON at those spots if you want to win. Woodley can help. But when Brandon and Woodley are in the game together they cannot get a rebound….damnit
Terrible missed dunk there by Bryant. Good grief. Tired of hearing about his dunking. That was wide open and pathetic. Even worse, it should be a 1 point game…but now down 5 because of that crap. Just throw it down dude. Unreal.
If I’m AJ Wilson I’m giving Frank the finger at seasons end. Hardly announcers saying Frank was bitching about rebounding. What does he think when he’s got Branden in Woodley in at the same time against big teams. He let Gray make one mistake and jerk them out after 80 seconds. Branden makes mistake after mistake and count out jump people for rebounds and stays in. AJ doesn’t get to play at all. I’ll never understand it and it pisses me off. I appreciate Branden’s effort but I want to win
This is the Will Muschamp offensive philosophy in basketball. No identity. We hang out on the perimeter all day. No interior passes. Just screens at the top of the key for 20 seconds and settle for a 3 or a bad shot.

Season over. I’m not sure GG Jackson is worth keeping Frank around. His teams are offensively challenged. Keep in mind, he said this was his most confident team in his career other than the Final Four team. They just got dominated by MSU on a neutral court.
GG is a one year guy. What’s best for this program is to move on. We won’t. But man, it’s brutal watching Frank Martin coaches teams without Sindarius Thornwell, Duane Notice, PJ Dozier, etc making him look good.

We get dominated because he plays his son so many minutes. Branden can’t even hit an 8 footer. We are getting pounded on the boards and he keeps Branden in there with Woodley. We go backwards and backwards and backwards every minute Branden’s in the game. I bet he let him play 10 straight minutes in the second half. We were behind and the lead just kept growing he gives us no option. Bryant AJ Wilson Gray sitting on the bench while we’re getting out rebounded like a bunch of highschoolers. Branden is good for a rebound that falls into his hands and maybe one trash bucket. One game I saw him hit two jumpers but in about 18 min of play any player can do that. I watch the game at eight delay and I was amazed at how long Branden played. Him and Woodley give us zero offense. This team is much better than Mississippi State and Frank substitution patterns once again killed us. I could substitute this team the right way and win five more games.

I seriously doubt GG would consider us at this point What's the allure? We suck. He's great, but there are no other pieces around him. He can go to Duke or UNC and get prime exposure and have other 5* around him. Even with him, we're not a tournament team.
Would consider us? He’s about a 75% lean to us at this point. We’re the favorites to land him. I’m not sure I understand why he’d come here. But there is no reason to doubt he’s seriously considering us. We may not get him, but he’s obviously seriously considering us.
Brandon playing doesn’t help, but make no mistake…that’s not the only reason we got dominated. We have far more issues that just Frank’s son.
Won’t be shocked if he doesn’t come here. But he’s definitely considering us. FWIW, Frank mentioned Stevenson and Cousinard will come back, that they’ve signed some good players, and there’s one he can’t talk about. It’s obvious he’s hinting GG is a Gamecock. Whether or not that’s true, I don’t know. I definitely think Frank is doing everything he can to keep his job.
Which is what I said in my original post. It’s the best thing Frank can point at to save his job. Certainly isn’t the results.
I could maybe see them giving Frank another year if GG reclassifies to 2022. I don't think we should give him another year, but I can see how the powers that be might be persuaded if Frank has a commitment from the top player in the nation. If GG doesn't reclassify and stays in 2023, then I can't see it all. We'd have to endure another suck year just to get GG for one year. With these one-and-done players, you need to bring in loaded classes b/c you've only got them around for a season. There's no time to build anything. GG wouldn't have anything else around him talent-wise.
We cut Muschamp loose, even though it meant losing Stockton.
