Their fans were convinced they would make the playoff. They had a 16 million dollars team with a Heisman Trophy winning QB leading them to a National Championship. They bragged and pounded their chests all summer long but then they end up in the Gator Bowl. They are the worst sidewalk alumni fans in the world. They hop on and off that wagon like their women hop on and off of frat boys. They went all in for this one season and flopped like Lebron James after a bruised finger. I really enjoyed watching the fall.

It's pretty obvious they should have.....in theory and on paper. That Kentucky loss.......just damn. You really can't look at any other comparable Bama loss and compare it - they lost to bowl teams on the road. Ole Miss lost to a 4-8 team.....at home. And even as bad as they played they needed that miracle long pass to completely blow it. Seems like I remember some fumble too in the endzone.

Would be hard for me as a fan to handle that, I have to admit.

Let’s keep telling ourselves it was just this one shot and they blew it, and they won’t be relevant any longer. That they’ll be back to pining for the good old days soon enough. Heck, with all they lose this year they may struggle to win even 8 games next year. That would be hysterical.
Kiffin got lucky with a few transfers. It’s not like he has as many 10-win seasons in the last 4 years as MSU does in program history.

It is time to discuss the eternal curse placed on the Ole Miss program. Those LSU games and KY games, it is just fate that they will never advance. This has been going on 30 years for them. It is without a doubt a thing.

Add the loss of Judkins to the list. Crazy how you can have so many things go right, and still have a significant hit like that which damages you so badly.

The difference with me is I would not have been out every day pounding my chest, about what I thought was going to happen and I would have gone to the bowl. I would have been disappointed, but I would have gone to the bowl game. State fans are consistent. They are not. When they suck they hide and you never see them. But when they are good, they are worst, and they come for nowhere. The worst of the worst are many of them, that never go to games, never buy season tickets and never contribute to anything. They go to Wal Mart and buy the shirt and talk **** to you.
