South Carolina incomplete on 4th down, so ND takes over with 20 sec left, and a 45-38 lead. That should be the ball game.
I only saw South Caroline twice - when they beat Kentucky and Clemson. The team today did not look like the same team. their punter is supposed to be one of the best, and he ripped of a 27 yarder just when his team needed him to crank one. he followed that up with a 31 yarder. against Clemson they were able to run the ball a lot better than what we saw today. bowl season so teams that show up are not always the same as season.
And its worse now with transfers and players going to the NFL sitting out. In the past it was just the long gap between the last game of the season and the bowl game ... some teams prepared for it better than others. But now ...
Clemson made them look better than they are. Rivalry game too.
UK was fresh off the Ole Miss loss, and still had some juice to their name. Make no mistake, UK is middling this year. No Levis, no Rodriguez vs Iowa, liable to see a repeat of 6 to 4 tomorrow.
