Indiana 50-46 Illinois with 9:42 remaining. I’m posting because this is one of the roughest games I’ve seen in a long time.

Illinois is showing high-level passing skills, very fine. Another assist and it’s Hoosiers 54-57 Illini with like 5 remaining.

Hoosier has a breakaway, tries to get fancy, loses it out of bounds. Brutal. Shaqtin the Fool winner for the rest of time.

I have to say that this was the worst play I personally have had no involvement with. If Indiana loses, he will never live it down. Worst play ever.

Illinois went down, now Auburn went down so that’s 2 prospective #1 seeds in the NCAA tourney out of their conference playoff. Sunday selection show is going to be interesting.

Illinois wasn't really in the running for a #1 seed (their ceiling might have been a 3 even if they won the Big Ten Tourney), however Auburn/Baylor losing definitely opens the door for Kentucky if they make a run in the SEC. Gonzaga, Kansas, and Arizona seem to be pretty safely locked in at this point.

I was disappointed that North Texas just lost in the CUSA tourney...they had the potential to pull off an upset in the NCAA with their slow pace and great defense. Unfortunately, they couldn't come up with enough offense in losing 42-36 to La Tech, and almost certainly are heading to the NIT

Yep, I fouled up the Illinois reference, thought they were higher ranked. Brain freeze.

They did win the Big Ten in the regular season, but it was so tightly packed that they went 15-5 in doing so. But what really hurt the was dropping 3 non-conference games without picking up any marquee wins (best non-conf wins were home over bubble team Notre Dame, and against a disappointing Kansas State team).

If Iowa met up with Gonzaga in the Sweet 16, I believe the total would be in the 170s (which is crazy for a college basketball game).

By process of elimination, pretty sure our officials tonight will be Paul Szelc, Bill Ek, and Donnie Eppley.

The last time we had Purdue in the Big Ten tourney in 2018, Szelc T'd up Pat.

All 3 teams that played yesterday knocked off the rested team today. Let's hope we can make it 4 for 4.

I guess there’s going to be a sharp drop off in interest today. Good game, a game of runs, Indiana 47-42 with 15:20 remaining. It’s a talent showcase, seriously.

Pennsylvania 11-15 Yale with 11:30 remaining in first. Ivy semifinals. I lived and breathed Quaker basketball in my far-off youth.

Indiana 67-61 Iowa at 4:33. No lead changes for 30 minutes, thereabouts.

Indiana's path reminds me of us in 2011...yesterday was that game they really needed to have, and today would be gravy to potentially even avoid the trip to Dayton.

Not often I celebrate someone losing their job...but I'm really glad that Will Wade got fired at LSU.

Boy, you give Iowa a moment to set and it’s an automatic 3. Three straight threes and they’re leading.

Indiana 75-77 Iowa at 0:41.

Iowa a desperate three straightaway from the logo, glass and in. Iowa up three with 0.8 seconds left.
