”The quarterback has been the source of minor controversy in the media after both of Georgia’s championship wins. Bennett went on “Good Morning America” after Georgia defeated Alabama in 2022 and struggled to keep his eyes open, with many on the internet commenting that he seemed hungover from celebrating.
In 2023, Bennett skipped the national championship press conference the day after the victory over TCU, being replaced by tight end Brock Bowers. Javon Bullard laughed during the presser when asked how Bennett “was feeling” that morning.”

Got drunk after two national championships. Our kids should be sober .
This arrest is weeks after the NC game. Why is he in Dallas? Why is he drunk and doing enough to warrant police calls? Usually one's friends/coworkers take care of their drunk pals. Why is he alone, roaming halls at 6am?
I've been in the drunk tank they sent him to... twice. It's a big room with floors that slightly slant towards a drain. They give you a mat to unroll and pass out on. After 6-8 hours they release you with a summons to appear and pay a fine. Third degree misdemeanor I am pretty sure.
He might. The NFL will probably do some investigation into what could be a problem.
Everything is so permissive now, but they don’t want a person drunk in public? Marijuana is legal, what’s the deal if he’s intoxicated in public? Would they rather he drive? I smell MJ coming from cars all the time. They should walk if they want to smoke it.

Are u kidding? I’ve seen stoned people and laughed my arse off about it. Drug recognition experts can tell if you’re driving under the influence ofMJ. It’s a big issue. NewYork debated legalizing MJ because of people driving under the influence of it. Colorado had problems with stoned driving that NY debated. There’s tells when someone’s stoned, and you can tell. The first hint with MJ is the smell on your clothes.

Ok you’re right. There’s no tells or bad from being stoned. Drinking is evil and should be punished to the fullest extent.
Although he didn't bang on anyone's doors, it reminds me of the guy who got stopped and charged with public intoxication while walking home from a local establishment in the town I live in who told the cop "I'm sorry officer, it won't happen again, next time I'll drive home".Not going to get the love in Tx like he might in Ga.
