Troy 31-17. Troy's RB runs all over MTSU(18-148-2 TD's)...this game wasn't as close as the score indicates, either.

All these people with 6, 7, 8, 9 win predictions pretty much all had Wake down as a W. Good luck with that Nutt cases.

They look pretty stout tonight.

I've not heard anyone say this an automatic win. Everyone knows they are a good team and its a road game. I wouldn't say it's an automatic loss but is far from an easy game. That said, they have no offensive line and therefore no run game. If you can get pressure on Skinner you've got a good chance. Baylor is an awful team and they shut down their run game. I think it will be a good matchup.

Is that the kind of pressure you are talking about?

And spare me your ******** DiamondRube. I have not seen one Rebel homer out there conceding a loss to Wake.

You're going to compare our team 3 years ago to this one? That one that played 18 true freshmen and coached by a first year Ed Orgeron? Skinner was a Frosh and they obviously had different Olinemen then. Yeah it's a perfect comparison. And we didn't "hold" him to 5 passes. They just didn't need to pass. And nobody thinks we walk away with this win. It's in the "winnable" column by most and I think that could be fair. Why would you concede a loss? If anything I've seen way to many state fans say that GTech is a cakewalk.

Because that's about as dumb as saying Ole Miss fans are expecting a win against Wake. I haven't heard or seen anyone say that G.T is a cakewalk. Playing a BCS team on the road sandwiched between Auburn and Lsu = Cakewalk? That's just stupid.

Middle drove inside the Troy 5-yard-line three times and came away with only 3 points. The only reason Middle lost that game is because they have a bare-bones offensive line with almost no experience, and couldn't run the ball on the goal line. That, and Middle's coaches were too dumb to try throwing the ball instead.

That said, State should have no problem with them. Should being the key word there. We are State, after all.

besides @Florida and @LSU, more Ole Miss fans predict us to lose @Wake than any other game.

I see more people predict @Bama. @Ark., and Auburn at home predicted as wins than the Wake game. </p>

Agree, most people I've seen go out on a limb to predict 9-3 or 8-4 have included Wake, Florida, and LSU as losses.

Granted, most of us believe that it's a game we could win if things go well for us, but most of us realize that the Wake game is going to be one of our toughest games, especially this early in the schedule. However, we also believe that it would be an upset if we were to win that one on the road. Wake is one of the favorites to compete for the ACC title this fall.

Memphis, Samford, Vandy, Arkansas, ULM, MSU. Ark and MSU can go either way, but I also think beating SC is possible, as is Bama, and Wake is not out of the realm of possibility, but I sure did not chalk it up as a win. I'm going with six wins, just don't know which six.
