It was never a bad loss. Ga Tech is solid. People forgot how basketball works since it’s been so long.

Looking at who they lost to - it wasn’t looking good. I don’t get worked up about one loss but they lost to umass….Lowell.

Arizona State (at home) was down double digits to Umass Lowell in the 2nd half and won by 2. Umass Lowell’s only loss is to Arizona State.

Edited to add: Arizona state’s only lead against Umass Lowell was 3-0 at the beginning of the game and then 69-67 with 18 seconds left. They won 71-69, ending the game on a 13-2 run.

proof positive why it was most definitely a bad loss at the time. Hopefully it will mellow with age.

ETA, Dook also lost to a upig team that isn’t terribly amazing, either.

Tech is a probably a sweet 16 team and we played them at their place.

If we play hard all season like I saw at GT we will have a very good season.
