Suited up tonight for the grizzlies tonight. I believe he's on a two way contract.

Happy for him! Can't hurt to have a former gamecock on an NBA roster regardless of how he played here.

How does that hurt us?
He is referring to a lot of butt-hurt fans that have responded negatively in the past when you make any reference to his NBA Career. PJ always gets blamed for the downfall of Frank Martin because he left early.

didn't get in
With a 2-Way deal it is unlikely that he will get in much. He will probably get sent down (Memphis Hustle) when some of the big team's injured players come back and Ja Morant gets off suspension. However, Two-Way deals are worth half the NBA minimum now. So, his salary will be approximately $560,000.00. That probably beats any NIL deal we could have thrown out there for him.

Gotcha. There are a lot of butt-hurt fans over GG also. I pull for all of them post-gamecock career. Martin was his own worst enemy and was 100% responsible for his own downfall

I for one didn't think PJ would play in the NBA but was thrilled that he did. I don't think he ever made big bank in the NBA.

I don't know what they were expecting with GG. GG came here with the plan of leaving after one year. Also, GG did not play bad. He played like a 17 year old. Anybody expecting him to come and change our program when he should have been playing against high schoolers were fooling themselves. They were just star watching. Every 4 and 5 star athlete is not created equally and they come to college under different circumstances.

100% agree. He could have handled adversity a bit better but I can guarantee you he handled it better than I would have at 17

I think his mother is a USC graduate and was a primary reason for him coming here. I graduated from USC twice and I am here to tell you I would have vetoed my 17 year old son going into our situation if I am the father. Too many were expecting this kid to be a team leader with very few pieces around him. The situation just was not set up for him to look successful. He needed a situation with at least another highly rated recruit or player with some high-level experience to guide him. With our situation, we kind of got what I expected. Our program can handle a one-and-done player. However, I don't think we were ready for a re-classed one-and-done. I have seen that go wrong even at schools like Duke and Kentucky.

Leaving school and reclassification is not a great idea period in my opinion, particularly when you are young for your grade. I do agree USC was a bad decision. His parents understandably wanted him close to home.

Quite the contrary. Dozier’s departure was a blessing. Never forget the inordinate amount of air-balls that guy threw up — some were free throws. Most overrated Gamecock of all time.

Don't quit your day job! Embarrassing post.

Told you. How some of our fans respond about PJ is beyond embarrassing. The kid went out and did what adults do. Get a job. Some of our fans act like he committed a crime or something. He is now playing in Serbia. His knee kind of held him back with regards to NBA jobs right now. Hopefully he can get back.

So not reaching the postseason, not even the NIT, in the past 5 seasons and your coach getting fired is a blessing? Please don't tell me what the curse is.

The blessing was Franky getting fired. You and your uncle Franky have serious anger management issues.
