That’s when the ACC/B1G/P12 formed the “Alliance”, which was just the B1G commish playing the ACC/P12 while they negotiated their expansion and TV contracts. They all punted on the 12 team playoff and here we are. We could have the 12 team right now and FSU would’ve been in.

But here's the thing: FSU could have entered the SEC 32 years ago and averted scenarios such as this. It was they who took the haughty path to the ACC. They got along well for several years in a league where they dominated. Now, they have come all the way around to what they unwittingly bargained for. I'm not shedding a tear.
