His remarks are inarguable. It's more chaotic and unethical than anything that happens among the pros. At least the pros don't tamper with players who are just starting a deal or in the middle of a deal. They might reach out to a person who is coming up for free agency but that's understood. What's going on in the colleges now is down and dirty - but legal. I don't see how it can go on the way it is.

I agree, I don’t see how it can continue.
I just wonder what it’s going to take to change course of the current chaos

I don't know. Whatever it is will have to be sustainable in the SCOTUS. This I know, the governing body should be able to discipline programs for tampering with other schools' players when its provable. That wouldn't be a violation of anyone's rights.

I bet you could settle things down really fast with reinstating the year waiting period for transfers.

It wouldn't solve everything, but I bet it would settle things down a lot.

Genie is out of the bottle. It's not changing. Any attempt to control it will be viewed as racist in some quarters, beginning with ESPN.

It's amazing that it has reached this point. At least the previous system offered the illusion that the same 5-to-10 elite teams could be challenged. Now the fix is on the table for everyone to view. Can't imagine a scenerio where viewing interest doesn't plummet under this new system. They need the masses to believe they've got a shot. This new setup doesn't even provide a glimmer.

It's comical to see Saint Saban and Saint Dabo now complaining about inequities in the system. And Finebaum, their trusted mouthpiece, echoing that same sentiment.

Both coaches know their schools don't have the biggest TV markets, nor the deepest pockets. Watching USC's Riley leverage that advantage with the LA market has to make them squirm about where this is all headed.

“I think everyone is pushing the envelope as much as you can, and some are just obliterating the line between good and evil here."

You wanna talk about comical? There it is right there! Clownbaum is talking like some "good" force has existed in collegiate athletics up until this point. What a joke.

???……Bama has had a deep tv market since the Bear took it from John Vaught in the mid 60’s.
