Looking at how bama knocked the sh|t out of uga yesterday, just give them the NATTY. o_O now. um? Nope. Cincy? Yeah, right. uga in a rematch? Nope.

The only issue I see is that bama lost Metchie yesterday to an ACL injury. Still, bama is loaded. Absolutely loaded. And saban obviously knows how to coach them up.

Of course, bama athletic supporters deserve better.

Just listened to some of the post game press conference. I think PSU, the entire PSU football staff starting with the head coach, could learn a thing or two about the mentality the coaches and the players have. With Franklin it's all about spoken love, with Alabama there's unspoken love. They let their actions speak louder than their words. They don't need to speak of love. It's there for all to see by their actions.

I’m pretty sure it’s tough love at bama. When I look at how much better bama played against uga than versus auburn the week before, I have to believe saban kicked the players a$$es in practice. “I’ll kick your a$$, but you’ll become a better player and a winner. You‘ll thank me for it one day.”

During yesterday’s game, they mentioned that seven bama players went in the first round of last year’s NFL draft. Look at who they lost and how good they are this year. Success begets further success. saban seems to be doing something right.

Not me. I admire them. Plus yesterday I was rooting hard for them to give Georgia a beat down. I can't stand Georgia and it goes all the way back to the way the Georgia fans were acting in NO leading up to the Sugar Bowl. How bout them Dawgs! YUCK!!
My hate top 3 UM, ND, TX, then it kind of falls off. Saban is the GOAT.

Losing metchie is a big loss for
Bama. Helps Georgia etc key better on their other receivers. Metchie was clutch while he was in.

saban grows wide receivers in Tuscaloosa. The next crop will be ready for harvest before the playoff.

I admire Alabama (and Ohio State as well) for the approach their athletic departments take in regard to their programs. Got to tip my hat to them. Both schools have done great things to build their brand. But I despise both teams and enjoy watching them lose.

It’s not a fair playing field. I don’t find anything impressive when an NFL team masquerading as a college team beats everyone else. I may be the lone Wolf here but I firmly believe that Alabama is what’s wrong with college football. By the way, I felt the same way about Miami during the 80’s and early 90’s.

You discerned all that from listening to a post game press conference? Wow.

And it makes it very special when Alabama and OSU lose.
My thinking is actually the opposite with Bama right now. While our boys aren’t doing whatnecessary to win it all, I kind of have the misery loves company mindset.

So, I have a welcome mat ready for UGA to the potential misery club. Deep down they know it’s been since 1980. That’s something else we have over them (hopefully) besides the Sugar Bowl.

Wow. You are truly amazing. How many practices have you attended? Unbelievable. Simply unbelievable.

Don’t you know PSU football practices are a hug fest? Cake and ice cream, laughing, and above all, hugging.

Saban is a football coach first who recruits. Franklin is a recruiter first trying to coach football.
FYI, When Mal Moore the Bama AD hired Nick Saben, Saben said Mr. Moore, you didn't hire the best coach in the world but you did hire the best recruiter.

Right, he's not only a better coach but also a better recruiter than the PSU coach.

One of several things I really admire about Alabama's teams is that they have not (at least in the games I have watched) pull any of that old Miami stuff. Maybe I miss it, but I don't see the Bama players trash-talking the opponent or showboating excessively.

Of course, if anyone has "been there before, it's the Tide." So they can act like it. But I like the way the team just "plays football" rather than try to make themselves the singular focus of the game.

Mostly, I like that Alabama and fans have in the past and seemingly still do show genuine respect for Joe Paterno and Penn State.
