Going Forward

Our defense is going to keep us in games against average offenses and they are going to bother good to great offenses. The question is still whether the offense can do enough to keep us in games. Their play really didn’t matter in this game, it will going forward. OU was bad on offense coming into this game and we just pummeled them. To be successful going forward, it’s all in the offense. Don’t have to be great, but have to be good, not average. I like our chances going forward, but you win half of your toss up games. I’ll be happy if we can do that. Our path to six wins or better looks better for sure

God forbid, someone points out the elephant in the room. LOL I posted about our inept offense on TIF, and got lambasted by quite a few. Is it not okay to be happy with a win , but disappointed in the offense?

Yes. Thanks goodness the D played with their hair on fire in this one because the offense was inept. Take away the short field TD and we had one TD drive a 2 FGs.
