I’m hoping the Pac-12 lures St. Mary’s as a basketball school as well but they still need that eighth football school…

This kind of sounds like what happened to the Big East. Football schools left and basketball schools came in.

I wonder if that means Texas State is headed to the Pac. They were allegedly the Mountain West's main target last week. That being said, I'm not sure a depleted Mountain West is better than the Sun Belt. A depleted Pac-12 might be though.
