I’m hoping the Pac-12 lures St. Mary’s as a basketball school as well but they still need that eighth football school…

I wonder if that means Texas State is headed to the Pac. They were allegedly the Mountain West's main target last week. That being said, I'm not sure a depleted Mountain West is better than the Sun Belt. A depleted Pac-12 might be though.

Yep. Smart decision by Texas State. A combined PAC-12/MWC might have been worth going to. But of course, they wouldn't have gotten the invitation to that.
