Right now, he's on a one-game losing streak. Better not make it two. Other than Furman, wins are going to be hard to come by in September and that first one might stand between us and and a ruinous start.

That is true. And a yard here or there could tip the scale one way or the other at the start of the season. But he did provide the impetus which kept us from being on a four-game losing streak at the end of the season. It won't be easy for sure, but the attitude of the coach and team is a far cry from what we had with Chump!

I'm a firm Beamer supporter. He's done a very good job in his first two seasons, albeit in comparison to very low expectations. Last season was spiraling until the miracle against UT. I'm not quite as optimistic as some about our upcoming season. As great as the UT and Clemson games were, I can forget the first 9 games. Add into that the roster losses and significant question remarks remain, not the least of which is that we have no idea whatsoever how Loggains will do. There's zero evidence one way or the other about him as a college OC. As noted above, the UNC game is critical. It will be the difference between a good start to the season or a disastrous start.
