This is a picture of the double he hit tonight in the first inning.

Outside pitch.png

He has been seeing the ball and hitting better over the past few weeks. Here is a pitch that is 6 inches outside of the plate. We know that because that is how far the line is from the plate. So it is a ball if he doesn't swing at it. This shows he has the ability and can hit that ball on the barrel of the bat and drive it on a pitch that far from his body. So what I have been saying is that if he moved 5 or 6 more inches off the plate he would cover a strike on the outside corner of the plate and would be able to hit the ball on the inside corner into fair territory.

The balls he has been hitting have mostly been on the outer half of the plate.

Too bad he’s worked his *** off and has to put up with these clowns around him. Total circus and Selmon is nowhere to be found. If he gave one single crap about guys like Hines, Lemon would be on his *** by midnight

Oh damn Hunt Dawg will say your senile! Hunt dawg has way more SEC at bats than you (in his mind) also( he knows some dubmass mlb scout so that gives him clout to not have to know a damn thing!) Thanks Bruce your input is valuable!!

When he fouled the ball off over the bullpen in left, I thought to myself is that the first time this year he has put the ball left of the 3b foul pole? Then he ropes the double. I guess SC was celebrating because I was told earlier this year that him not hitting a HR is a win for the pitcher.
