I can only imagine the introductions.

At least we still have Garrett. That is, if he ever sees the field, AND if we ever get competitive with them, which I'm confident will happen under the Les Miles regime.

over a recruit, but the whole comment about "I don't commit and then not sign" blew me up.

He's a sorry piece of crap as far as I'm concerned and he learned it from his mamma and her boyfriend.</p>

He is going to bring alot of baggage when he shows up at UT. He can really play but all this Drama is troubling. If mama and boyfriend aint kept happy, Pearl will have a revolt on his hands.

Maybe our luck has changed and we don't even know it yet.

I have a funny feeling there might be something going on with this commitment.
If the NCAA gets involved I would not be surprised to find out about some cash and/or cars involved.

His mom and boyfriend were involved too much for the start.

have I said that we would probably be better off without this guy and his Mom?

Hopson and that attention-***** Pearl should get along pretty well, as long as one doens't out do the other of course.

We could really, really use Hopson's talent, let there be absolutely no doubt about that. But Hopson seems like the kind of player Stans struggles with, that being a player with a bad attitude. Team players like Bowers, Zimmerman, Roberts, Austin, Vincent, Power, Varnado, etc seem to flourish under him, and when we have a lot of these types we typically win a bunch of games. However the attitude players like Jackson, Ervin, Sharpe, Houston, Delk sisters, and even Rhodes to a certain extent struggle under him, at least for part of their careers. Most end up leaving. For whatever reason Stansbury doesn't do well at reigning in players. If they walk onto MSU campus with an attitude we are going to have trouble with them. We missed on some guys in terms of character which lead to lack of depth and some struggles on the court. Thankfully we seem to have a lot of team players right now.

While losing Hopson's skills will hurt us, we are probably better off without him.

Just like I would have done if I had that much talent.

But still 17 him and his mom.
