Just to be clear, I said it appeared as if the only two ways he would be wearing a State jersey next year would be if 1) he got hurt before the draft or 2) just wasn't drafted at all.</font></span></p>

He said that he had spoken with plenty of people who said he had a good chance of being a first-rounder. Gordon also received this advice from MSU coach Rick Stansbury: "He told me he thought I had a good chance also and he thought I should go."</font></span></p>
