Away games are always white-outs.Section 309. A white-out?
Damn, what a stupid question. I hang my head in shame.Away games are always white-outs.
This oversight will be duly noted in your performance review.Damn, what a stupid question. I hang my head in shame.
It’s getting to be a lot worse than my NCAA MBB Tourney picks. Wow, pathetic. This oversight will be duly noted in your performance review.
Been there at the blowouts, can confirm. Boy, there’s not many things in life better than Penn State winning a blowout.Maryland fans will be gone by halftime. You will have a section all to yourself.
College Park is a dump. It’s about 2 blocks. Walk the wrong way on Route 1 and good luck.We went to the Maryland game a couple of years ago. I was genuinely surprised at how beautiful the campus is. We stayed in DC and took the train to the game. A unique experience. Enjoy!
It's even better walking through the campus of Auburn after blowing them out, and they are still nice to you for coming all the way down to little ole All Barn.Been there at the blowouts, can confirm. Boy, there’s not many things in life better than Penn State winning a blowout.
I can well imagine. I had an AU-grad uncle, what a gentleman he was. It's even better walking through the campus of Auburn after blowing them out, and they are still nice to you for coming all the way down to little ole All Barn.
Does anyone know the PSU seat sections for the Maryland game?
I just now checked UMd Ticket Office and Seat Geek turned out to be a real bargain. I’ll be looking for a parking pass down the road, it’s too pricy for me right now.Through Maryland ticket office?

Agree that the surrounding area is a dump but the campus grounds and buildings were surprising to me.College Park is a dump. It’s about 2 blocks. Walk the wrong way on Route 1 and good luck.
We went to the Maryland game 3 or 4 years ago. Went to the pep rally beforehand. Stayed at the Hotel at the University of Maryland (was surprised that a room was available and we got a good deal.) The campus was nice; the game was better. We went to the Maryland game a couple of years ago. I was genuinely surprised at how beautiful the campus is. We stayed in DC and took the train to the game. You'll get to enjoy a performance from the Blue Band, that's one of their two away games this year. OSU is the other.
We have a kid in the band, look for him -- he'll be in blue and white.
Don't bother with a parking pass. Park for free along University Dr, I believe it's Rt 193. It's a short walk to the stadium and easy out after the game, especially once the MD fans have left in the 3rd quarter.I just now checked UMd Ticket Office and Seat Geek turned out to be a real bargain. That is our plan, stay in D.C. and take train from D.C. to campus. How far is the train station from the stadium? We went to the Maryland game a couple of years ago. I was genuinely surprised at how beautiful the campus is. We stayed in DC and took the train to the game. A unique experience. Enjoy!
I’ve seen that but those spots go fast and I’d prefer a sure thing.Don't bother with a parking pass. Park for free along University Dr, I believe it's Rt 193. It's a short walk to the stadium and easy out after the game, especially once the MD fans have left in the 3rd quarter.
Assuming when you all say your taking the train you mean the Metro, the Colleage Park Metro station is a good ~1.5+ miles from the stadium. I would say a 30-40 minute walk each way. That is our plan, stay in D.C. and take train from D.C. to campus. How far is the train station from the stadium?
Yeah, catching the bus back to the metro station after the game can be tricky. Tried that once, f that. I’ll be splurging for a parking pass.Assuming when you all say your taking the train you mean the Metro, the Colleage Park Metro station is a good ~1.5+ miles from the stadium. Yes, the metro. Thanks for the heads up on that distance.Yeah, catching the bus back to the metro station after the game can be tricky. Tried that once, f that. I’ll be splurging for a parking pass.
MaconNitt & I and 4 compadres chipped in for a parking pass in Terrapin Club 1C, close to stadium. We will be there and are you are more than welcome to tailgate with us. We couldn’t find you the last time we were there. Don’t know where our tickets are yet. We are staying at the Best Western Plus on Baltimore Ave.I’ve seen that but those spots go fast and I’d prefer a sure thing.
It’s a 10-minute walk to the edge of campus. The stadium is about 30 mins. We got there early and walked around campus before meeting up with some friends. How far is the train station from the stadium?
This would be great, thanks. (Bars are a chore for me, just too loud.) I’m psyched.MaconNitt & I and 4 compadres chipped in for a parking pass in Terrapin Club 1C, close to stadium.
