I really despise those corndogs. They beat us in everything, win too many national titles. I'm still mad they beat us in the winner's bracket game back in '97 or '98 or whenever it was. And they're fans are the most obnoxious i've ever found anywhere. It's just disgusting, and i really really hate them.

98. I was there. I drove all the way to Omaha to watch us play Florida and LSU. Unfortunately, I couldn't get off work for the rest of the week. I hate these guys a lot more than I hate those guys in Oxford.

I envy the bastards. And yes, far more hatred than for Ole Miss, Alabama or any other team. And I live in south Mississippi close to the Louisiana line, which makes it worse. I wish I lived on the Alabama line so I could hate Alabama, it couldn't be worse than the "ella's shoes." Having said that, I do like their baseball coach, he seems like a bona fide nice guy, only now I want Cohen and company to kick their asses.

My problem with them is that they cross the line by throwing glass beer bottles, urine, and etc. and then nothing is done "by the law enforcement" because they are LSU fans. And then they try to pass it off as "gameday atmosphere". In fact if you tried to defend yourself against LSU "people" you would probably end up getting thrown in jail. It is truly amazing to me that no one has ever gotten killed down there- especially an Alabama fan.

I would feel safer going to a Lanier/Provine football game wearing a white power t-shirt than I would going to LSU by myself wearing an MSU t-shirt at night. You really do need to go in a group of no less than four just be moderately safe.

They are like the kid in high school who gets away with all kinds of crap and gets trophies and crap like that, and then treats everyone like a total *******. Kind of like crossing Ferris Bueller with a school bully.

I can't stand Ole Miss. No really. And I don't like Alabama. But, the LSU fans make the school totally unbearable. Whether it is throwing beer bottles, cussing out an oposing fan that is a 70 year old lady, or just generally doing their best to get into fights, they really take things beyond just being obnoxious fans. I myself have been called obnoxious before (I know, I know), and really don't have a problem with that. But, when people get hurt, I call that taking it too far. LSU is the ONLY school I know of where everyone that goes there comes back with some story about getting into a fight, almost getting run over, or some ******** like that.

This pretty well says it all:

I would feel safer going to a Lanier/Provine football game wearing a white power t-shirt

That's such ********. Isolated incidents happen on every campus for every football game.

People who ***** so virulently about the LSU gameday atmosphere are big stinky *****.

Go watch women's softball if you want a "Dinner on the Grounds" type atmosphere.

about the incidents that occur on a game by game basis at LSU. There's a reason every school in the SEC, even the ones that beat them often, hate them.

But hey, an Ole Miss fan not seeing the problem with people acting like idiots? SHOCKING!

at lsu AND...... at Ole Miss. Now I know we're the archrivals and all, but in several trips to both places I've found fans have even LESS decency in oxford than in baton rouge. I realize "every school has 'em," but I've had glass bottles thrown at me for being a state fan in only two places- those two.

Yeah, it has to be either "dinner on the grounds" or throwing beer bottles and trying to run over old ladies. Although a lot of people take exception, I don't see antyhing wrong with obnoxious behavior. But, if you think fights, and throwing ****, and that type of thing are just gameday atmosphere, well, like I said, you are full of ****. And it isn't isolated. At all.

I guess I have heard it all now -- an Ole Miss fan defending fights and **** on the LSU campus as gameday atmosphere.

Granted it was some drunk throwing his whiskey bottle in celebration after Westerfield's kick against Kentucky several years back.

"You're wrong."? Well if you put it like that......

Dozens of MSU fans, myself included, urinated on as we left the Stadium in 2000.? An Auburn fan's van is burned.? Isolated, right?

More isolated incidents, some so isolated that the LSU Athletic Department felt the need to issue apologies for.....

them smelling like corndogs and throwing Old English bottles full of urine on opposing fans.

I hope they win the CWS.

I did not intend to stir the pot of jumbalaya.</p>

Only thing was, I was an MSU student at the time and the whiskey bottle came from the back of the MSU student section, after we beat them in 1984. Back then, LSU was our personal bitches.

that carpet bagging turd that was interviewing them needs to keep her hand out of my tax contributions. i found those fans to be mild compared to the times that i have been to tiger stadium...very mild.
