So, as any sensible Gamecock fan would do, I expect something along the lines of a 4-5 game from him with 3 or 4 RBI.
I dont know if he's still as antsy of a hitter as he was here but I'd be wanting to test that right off the bat. Fastball inside, off speed outside.
I was to nervous to watch the game at my desk so I would check on the score every half hour or so...I just got in 20 minutes ago and looked at the score....I'm so relieved we beat Arky. I think we have a good shot against anyone else but maybe UT...We'll see.
It won’t matter. We will hear the announcers talk about how he’s struggled a little bit at the plate this year for LSU, but this will be his best game of the year. Mark it down.
That may very well be. If it is, I think I'll be more curious to see how we handle it. I haven't looked up his stats but I thought I heard today vs UK he hit his second HR of the year... yet he's leading off. Kinda leads me to believe someone has worked him into being a pretty good base hitter. So he may very well be a tough out. Again, I'll be looking at how we handle that

I doubt it, even if we win it. Right now DI Baseball projects us as a 3 seed in Clemson.
Baseball America's predictions look more accurate imo given it came out today. They have us in Raleigh as a 2 seed. Has Bama going to Clemson as a three seed

From hosting to a 3 seed in less than two weeks.
If we are a 3 seed, we'll end up at Clemson or some similar hard road. However, these last two wins might very well get us up to a 2 seed. In that case, it probably will not be Clemson. Could be Georgia, NCSU, or ECU. Being the 2 seed at ECU would be like winning the lottery.
I recall, about this time last year, folks downplaying Braswell leaving, saying he would not land at an SEC level team. I hope we can beat them. They're on fire right now. I expect a lot of hits, for someone.
