Great morning, but average overall slate of games Saturday......

Early, we get the 'can Lebbro actually do it' game vs. winnable Arkansas, who just took a beating, is on the road, and probably looking forward to the Ole Miss game at home. We also find out if Ole Miss is dead or alive, home vs. Oklahoma. And we have Noodle (is he even still the starter?) vs. talk of the town Cignetti. Ohio State/Nebraska and ND/6pack flavor of the week triple option darling Navy.

Afternoon, we got Mizzou/Bama, Illinois/Oregon, and undefeated BYU @ Malzahn, if you like Mormon sport conquest. A little later we'll see if Vandy can take care of a wounded Texas ego.

Night, it's pretty much LSU/Texas A&M. FSU at Miami could be one of the worst beatdowns in ages in that series. Late night Prime, if you're into that sort of thing, always some drama.

Not the best day to have a morning game, with a later day tailgate. But decent I suppose.

I figured we would be about a 2pt underdog against Ark. Surprised to see it opened at 8.5 and came down to a still-large 6.5

I know it's G5, but the UNLV vs Boisy State could be a good one. I think it is Friday night. I am hoping to get home in time Saturday from Starkville to watch the LSU game.

This is the time of year where more and more P4 games start getting played during the week, and I hate that. They should reserve the week for G5, with less competition.

For example.....I watched Kennesaw State get their first FBS win last night, over undefeated Liberty.

I say this light heartly but after playing TX, GA and A&m D Line our O line is kind of getting a break this weekend.
Hope so. LSU has been a very below average rushing team and was able to put 150 on them. So I would hope that we can do the same.

Arkansas is also down to their back up RB and you would think that Green is a bit beat up too. We did a pretty good job controlling A&Ms running game. Hopefully we can keep Green from beating us deep. Rose bowl say he is a one read QB but against our secondary that may be all he needs since we won’t get any pressure on him.

HUGE game for Bama. Drop it and things are going to really start to go sideways.

I understand that following recrootin and the year round passion has definitely gone down for many, but it's hard to argue that the fall football Saturdays have not been enhanced with the new rules and all this parity. So many games have meaning. There may not be the marquee games up and down the schedule, but many more games matter.
