I just got off the phone with a friend of mine who happens to work at the ticket office.
Many of you have been complaining about the high prices of tickets, so let me break it down for you and help you avoid Ticketmaster altogether.

USC still has lots of lower tickets to sell for the game in Charlotte. All of these are behind the Gamecock bench either lower level or club level.
The following sections with availability are 126, 127, 136, and 137 at $150 each.
The lower club are sections 349-351. at $160 each.
The sideline club are roughly sections 342-345 at $250 each.
If you are a member of the Gamecock Club, simply log into your account manager and purchase online, max of 8.
If you are not a Gamecock Club member then you'll have to call the ticket office and buy them over the phone.
Ticketmaster's fees are $35 per ticket plus they don't even have the inventory that South Carolina has. Buying from the university saves you all fees because they only charge you the ticket price and not a penny more!
All tickets are digital so no paper.
If you still want to complain about ticket prices, I can't help you.

I will complain sans help: $150 to $250 for 13 minutes (0.22 hrs) of live play action per game = $682 to $1,136 per hour of action. Nice!

When you add up the donations required and the price of tickets for season ticket holders, $150 to $250 can be a bargain.

It's really stupid to use Ticketmaster if you can skirt it. I know a Silver Spur who just ordered some tickets for the game in Charlotte through the school for a friend. I'm glad the Silver Spur is also my friend - just in case.

Goodness, $150 to see a game between 2 teams that went a combined 17-10 in the previous season.

If you want to break down something really crazy, take a look at Beamer's salary.

$6,125,000/year
$510,416.66/month
$117,788.46/week
$16,780.82/day
$699.20/hour
$11.65/minute

Beamer is almost the poster boy for the argument that college coaches are grossly overpaid. He had zero head coaching experience, zero coordinator experience and has an overall record of 15-11 with a 1-1 bowl record. I don't recall USC being in any sort of bidding war against any other program for Shane either. Shane was paid $435,000 a year at Oklahoma as TE coach, $2 million a year would have been plenty to start him out and that would have been generous.

Like my dad says "it's easy to spend other people's money".

And we, as the fans, are asked to buy tickets are outrageous prices and donate NIL funds so the players can be paid. That seems backward.

I cannot imagine a single self-respecting fan who would actually give hard-earned money to NIL. But fools and their money are parted all the time. I LOVE college football and detest that it's basically pro ball now. But, if a player can strike NIL deals on his own, so be it. NIL will never see a penny of my money.

I'm not donating to NIL, but there are plenty of self-respecting fans who do give to NIL. I see the arguments for and against frequently on TIF.

65" screen, cold beer in fridge, potty 8 steps away, pause on TV available, ribs, and no Charlotte traffic...................home sweet home. Now if it were at Willy B, I might be there with the grandson. I offered to go to Charlotte, he said he only likes games at WB. Loves being in that atmosphere. I would have to spend 4 tix x $150 plus parking, plus food, gas, etc. I don't want to see a $1000 ball game vs UNCheat. Call me frugal or lazy...I don't care.
