Do you have ESPN? Go to ESPN.com/activate and follow the directions. I did and I'm watching on Hulu.

It's probably a good thing ESPN is making it so hard for anybody to watch this game.

$100 dollars to just watch maybe 2 games on espn+?
No thanks!
You could have gone to Cosco's and paid $18.01 for a tickets. Sure you would have had to pay for parking but it still would have been cheaper than $100. I have a friend in the media business. He told me the days of staying home and watching games on tv for what you pay for your provider will be coming to an end. ESPN and all the other providers are paying these schools in the SEC, BIG 10 a lot of money. They cannot pay these schools these large amounts of money from advertising along is not enough revenue so they have to charge these other providers media rights fees. People think they can subscribe to Youtubetv, sling and other providers they can get ESPN+. You can get ESPN and all the other ESPN Channels but not ESPN+. That is extra as you have seen. You have your premium channels like History that are not part of Youtube, sling and other providers. You pay extra as History, ESPN+ are considered premium channels. My provider includes History, espn+ as part of their monthly package. Sure my monthly bill is high but what is not high. We as customers have paid over $4 a gallon for gas. You either pay it or walk. The same way with a lot of providers going to streaming. You either have a tv that will use streaming or you can buy a roku streaming device runs any where from $49 - $100. Then if you want ESPN+ or any other premium channels you pay. Unfortunately this is how things are this day and time.

I have direct TV it tells me I have to pay 100
We probably won't be on ESPN+ or SECN+ again this year, however if we are....please post before the game and I can walk you through this. If we are on SECN+, and the tv plan you are on has the SECN.............then you don't have to pay for anything. Plus, on the ESPN app, the options that pop up if you didn't know any better are $99 Annual / $9.99 Monthly. If nothing else, do the monthly and cancel in a few weeks. Well worth $10 to watch our game.

The reason I'm telling you this, is last year I fell for the same trap on our opener and bought ESPN+ for a month to not miss the game. Not a big deal since it's just $10. But it was actually free on SECN+ for me (and you if you have Direct TV). I do Youtube TV, and the only difference is when you log into the ESPN app on the TV, you just have to choose your TV provider.

Here's the slick way they kind of trick you into signing up and paying for ESPN+............when you go to our game that's listed as being on ESPN+ & SECN+ you will see the ESPN+ option. When you click to view, it makes you sign up. If you continue to scroll through the live/upcoming games, you will eventually find the SECN+ option. Click on it. It simply makes you sign in through your tv provider (charter/comcast/direct/dish/etc).

THE EASIEST WAY to avoid getting duped by ESPN is to simply go into the app, use the search function, type in South Carolina vs (whoever we are playing), and you will get the two icons to choose from with one being ESPN+ and the other SECN+ for watching the game. I have walked so many people through it who felt like you did and thought they were stuck. Choose SECN+ and follow the prompts to log in through your existing provider. It's about a 15-20 second process. Hope this helps.

My understanding is that SECN+ is the medium for those games not carried on SECN/ESPN/CBS, etc.

In other words, I expect us to be on SECN+ for UNCC, SC State, Mizzou, Kentucky, and Vandy.

And if both us and Clemron have outstanding seasons, perhaps our game in Dung Valley may be televised by ABC (assuming that ABC has ACC television rights).
