If it's on FB, it has to be true.
I am hearing the same thing. But, it's not called "Fakebook" for nothing.
I understand your sentiment. I think that the problem Florida had with him was his approach to recruiting. He was fired in his 4th season there. But in his first 3 seasons there, the Gators finished 6th, 6th and 12th in the nation. At Miss. State of all places, he led them to three Top 25 finishes at 15th, 11th and 23rd. As an OC at Florida, his last 3 offenses finished 19th, 14th and 15th in the nation. I believe he is a good coach and play-caller.Have we not learned our lesson on FL retreads?
SOS Sr also hated recruiting.Mullen can call an offense, but has admitted he hates recruiting, we really don't need another Spurrier Jr type.
Also seems relations with his players. It can turn on you real quick if you don't have what it takes to manage it.I think that the problem Florida had with him was his approach to recruiting.
That's one reason why he may not be a good fit.Mullen can call an offense, but has admitted he hates recruiting, we really don't need another Spurrier Jr type.
I hope it is a cruel joke. Mullen helps us in exactly no way. First and foremost he sucked at recruiting at Florida and that takes real effort. His offense was innovative like 10 years ago and hasn't changed. He is also a difficult personality. I just hope this is a joke.
